CEREC Primemill Changes
New Firmware version: 2.6.8-V122021
- Reduces boot-up errors where the device remains on DS logo screen. (Note: A manual restart may be needed after firmware installation)
- Optimized computation of device axes in calibration routine for improved restoration surfaces. (Note: Calibrate the device post firmware installation for effectiveness)
- Fixed touch issues including “Error: spindle speed not reached” during touch process or calibration.
- Optimized touch process routines for errors like “wrong block” or “wrong tools” even if setup is correct.
- Fixed device freezing if the door is opened during a process.
- Error messages now displayed for internal communication errors due to electronic issues.
Software (SW) Changes
- Optimized pin strategy for MCXL-family and CEREC Primemill milling units. This increases usable block material allowing for longer restorations, mainly zirconia bridges in medi blocks.
- Demos on Dry sintering and Glazing of CEREC MTL Zirconia and CEREC Tessera.

- Dry sintering of CEREC MTL Zirconia (shade A2, C2)
- Glazing of CEREC MTL Zirconia (all shades)

Further Changes
- Bug fixes for increased software stability.
- Indications introduced with Primeprint are visible post CEREC SW 5.2.4 installation. Note: Primeprint area in configuration and selection in manufacturing phase have been omitted.
- Updated quality agreement during the installation process.

DS System Monitor v.1.1
