Lecturers:
Mark Fleming, DDS
Dr. Mark J. Fleming, a distinguished alumnus of The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, class of 1978, has made significant contributions in the realm of dental technology. An acclaimed speaker, Dr. Fleming has shared his extensive knowledge on CEREC technology with various international audiences. His expertise has also been instrumental on the board of an international dental academy, promoting the understanding and application of computerized dental technologies and machinable restorative materials.
In addition to his speaking engagements, Dr. Fleming offers his insight as a consultant to various dental manufacturing companies, aiding in product development and evaluation. His journey with CEREC technology began in 2001, and he has been actively involved as a beta tester for CEREC software since 2004.
His current roles include serving as Resident Faculty at CDOCS.com, where his wealth of experience benefits both learners and the broader dental community. Furthermore, Dr. Fleming is not only a Basic and Advanced Trainer for Patterson Dental in CEREC technology but also serves as the Editor for CDOCS.com Magazine, further cementing his position as a thought leader in dental technology.
Shivi Gupta, DMD
Dr. Shivi Gupta brings a wealth of experience and a deep passion for digital dentistry to her private practice in San Diego, California. With a remarkable 19-year career, Dr. Gupta has dedicated herself to leveraging CAD/CAM and CBCT technologies to deliver exceptional dental care. Her expertise spans a broad range of applications, from intricate crown and bridge work to implants, smile design, and orthodontics.
As a prominent Resident Faculty member at CDOCS, Dr. Gupta shares her extensive knowledge with others in the field. She is also a Key Opinion Leader (KOL) speaker and Beta tester for the renowned Dentsply Sirona, provides her insights as a product consultant for various dental companies, and is an advanced trainer for Patterson Dental. Her international lectures on CAD/CAM and digital dentistry have inspired professionals worldwide.
Dr. Gupta’s educational background is equally impressive. She holds a DMD degree from the University of Manitoba, Canada, and has completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.

Rich Rosenblatt, DMD
Dr. Rich Rosenblatt is a dynamic, second-generation dentist who combines his love for people and education with his role as a prominent educator and speaker. As a key faculty member at CDOCS.com and a regular teacher for Dentsply Sirona, he is deeply involved in shaping the future of digital dentistry. In addition to his work with Dentsply Sirona, Dr. Rosenblatt also shares his expertise through collaborations with Ivoclar, 3M, and Patterson Dental. He is dedicated to mentoring his peers, offering both clinical guidance and advice on practice growth.
Born in Wichita Falls, Texas, at the Sheppard Air Force Base, where his father served as an Air Force dentist, Dr. Rosenblatt has dentistry in his DNA. He took his first steps into the dental world as a dental assistant in his father’s practice while studying at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania. His academic journey led him to earn his degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey Dental School, followed by a comprehensive General Practice Residency at St. Joseph Medical Center in Reading, Pennsylvania. After practicing in downtown Chicago for nine years, Dr. Rosenblatt took the helm of Forest North Dental in 2007.
Dr. Rosenblatt is particularly passionate about CAD/CAM dentistry. This technology has revolutionized the way restorations like crowns, veneers, and implants are created, allowing them to be completed in a single visit without traditional impressions. His leadership in this field is evident through the Northern Illinois CEREC Study Club, one of the largest CAD/CAM study groups in the United States. Here, he educates and inspires doctors globally on the innovative applications of CEREC technology.
