How do you scan for a nightguard and send to a dental lab?

  1. Open Chairside or Connect software
  2. Enter patient information
  3. Scan upper arch, lower arch and the bite – ensure to capture distal of the terminal teeth accurately for good retention (tips for this here)
  4. Advance to model phase
  5. Send the case
    1. Send via Cerec Connect – click DS logo>open cerec connect case center
    2. Export as .stl files – click DS logo, export>reduced resolution>select file destination>export
